The appearance

Appearance: Aelis has milky white skin, platinum blonde hair, and light blue eyes. She has light purple circles under her eyes, has retractable fangs (of course), and she is quite tall. Her hair is curly and long, though it's soft and when she walks her curls bounce. Her eye lashes are black and long--basically, she is perfect and beautiful in every way possible. Looks to be about eighteen.

Personality: Aelis is quite mysterious. She rarely, if ever, talks and only speaks when spoken to. When people think of the perfect lady, they think of her. She is polite, loyal, obedient, and soft-spoken. Every man's dream. Never is she angry unless she is wronged, and she has never in her whole life raised her voice. A soft and gentle soul, she is ashamed of what she is at times, as she was raised in the Catholic faith and she was taught that these creatures were evil. Aelis strives to be the best vampire she can possibly be and she tries her hardest to not kill humans and to just feed off the dead bodies laying around the streets of London. There are plenty of those.

Despite her being gentle and kind, Aelis is an amazing fighter. She is strong, quick, and she makes death painless. She will not hesitate to fight back if she feels it is necessary. Aelis is also very sensitive and is easily distressed or depressed. She worries often and she is quick to jump to the worst conclusions. Aelis is insecure at times and she never feels good enough for anything.

History: Aelis was born to a family of three on a stormy, dark and dank night. Minutes after she was born a vampire came through the castle window demanding the Lord and Lady give him their daughter at the age of eighteen or they will pay. Catherine and Fred quickly agreed, but soon after the beast left, they made an oath to eachother and their beautiful baby girl that they would not let her go without a fight. Aelis had a rather happy childhood. She and her older brother, Robert, got along great but soon, as their father's position entitled, Robert had to leave for training to become a knight in the King's army.

Robert went away to his first war when Aelis was seventeen, leaving theor family with even less protection. The night of Aelis's birthday quickly arrived and Aelis was locked up in a dungeon for safe keeping. This was not how she had imagined spending her eighteenth birthday. Her parents had not given her hand away for a reason. They knew the vampire was expecting her to be his wife and they didn't want to kill the husband's family too. That night, everyone but dear Aelis was killed by the vampire. He had considered killing her too, but thought it better if he just changed her instead. After he changed her, he decided to leave her alone to fend for herself.

She stayed on the manor, alone, morning for many a years until her brother returned. He was happy to see her, but it was also obvious she had changed. And not just psycologically, but physically as well. He knew she was a vampire--but he accepted that quickly and vowed that she would always be welcome on their family's manor. He held his word, and through the generations his desendants have known and kept her secret as well as welcomed her any time she wished to come.
