Blood & Chocolate - [LB]

Bucharest, Romania. For nearly 500 years, Bucharest and the surrounding area have been claimed by werewolves; mainly two or three packs, a hand full of born wolves, a bunch of bitten wolves. These werewolves set up their homes and lives in Bucharest, it's neighbor Eden Town, and the Mountain Mist National Park. It seemed like it would continue on for another 500 years with no break in the pattern of werewolf controlling the land.

Then the unthinkable happened. Humans figured out that werewolves were real and lived alongside them. Hunts were organized and many werewolves lost their lives. Those who didn't, fled the lands, while some stayed behind, settling in the quieter Eden Town rather than live in the hustle and bustle of rising Bucharest. Hundreds of werewolves were killed, most in the wolf form, exposing their kinds existence, as the murdered wolves would change back into human form once they died. These only confirmed what the humans thought and Werewolf Hunters were added to the picture. Those rare werewolves that had stayed within Eden Town now fled to the four winds.

It wasn't until recently that a few werewolves have slipped back into Bucharest and Eden Town, most kept to themselves, making sure that they don't do anything that would put them or their families in harms way. With the settling of the humans, and somewhat open access to the national park, the werewolves were able to try and set up a new life. There are still wolf hunts, of course, most only turning up actual wolves, but the werewolves that live within the two towns listened every night to the news, hoping and praying that their missing family members wouldn't turn up on the ten o'clock news.

Two main packs have stayed strong through the hunts; the Validus and Infiniteria packs. The Validus pack, the wolves that live within the city limits of Bucharest, haven't had the same luck as the Infiniteria pack has had within Eden Town. Because of the amount of humans that cause Bucharest to grow, the Validus pack are a little bit more ruthless and cunning when it comes to their land. They aren't really at war with the Infiniteria packs, but there isn't much love between the packs. The Infiniteria pack, which is led by Eclipse Holt, a natural born werewolf, working alongside humans and a few werewolves in Eden Town Steel Mill. This pack is a little more free than the Validus, not having to always hide as most of Eden Town are werewolves. Those few humans that accept werewolves live within Eclipse's pack and under his protection. Again, there isn't much love between Eclipse and the Validus Alpha Male, but in order to keep the remainder of his people safe, he will keep his tongue to help out the greater good.

As a whole, the werewolves are starting to have a chance to breath. The hunts are letting up, the humans are going back to their happy lives, and the werewolves are starting to seriously return. The only problems are the rare Werewolf Hunters that are still out and about, and the few bitten and born werewolves that are causing problems. Can you survive or are you going to just give up and roll over?
